About Steel Work Southern
Steel Work Southern was originally formed by joint venture of two individuals, who saw a need for a flexible fabrication and supply of steel to the building industry. One individual a steelworker and the other a civil engineer soon became aware of what was needed within the construction industry and so the company was born.
With the vast knowledge of both structural steel work and civil engineering designing and problem solving became second nature.
The company is experienced In temporary work, for alterations and demolition, to all types of permanent steel structures.
Our Services
Design
Designs can be carried out to external engineer’s calculations, using our in house service.
All drawings and designs are CAD based.
Fabrication
At SWS we are able to fabricate all types of steel frame buildings, for self assembly or assembly by our qualified installers.
Either by using our design service, or supplying drawings we can fabricate to specification and supply all necessary fittings.
Installation
All installation work is carried out by qualified installer, all of whom are CSCS compliant.
All levels are set out using laser or GPS, ensuring fine tolerances are achieved.
Architectual
In our production facility we manufacture bespoke architectural steel work for both functional and decorative requirements.
Gates, railings and balconies are our most common requirements.
Security and Hoarding
Our site hoarding service comes with design calculations and is installed throughout London, Surrey, Hampshire, West Sussex and the South of England by our own team of experienced installers.
